Interaction Design Tools

Posted on by Little Nice Things

Prototype like a wizard

Here we are in mid 2015, and the world of interaction design tools keeps in agile mode, with more and more players in the scene.

We have been using static design tools that don’t necessarily represent the world around us and the devices we use. The world around us is in motion, and the progressive Experience Designer feels the need to replicate that flux in his digital projects. There’s a need to simulate transitional interfaces, the same way life flows organically from event to event.

Pen and paper might be a good starting point to get your ideas out quickly, but when you want to take things to the next level you will need interactive prototype tools.

Here comes the pain point, with an ocean of new design and prototype tools ( Invision, Marvel, Flinto, Form, Origami, Pixate, Framer JS, Atomic, ... ) which one should designers choose?

Here, an overview of the most popular ones, on Medium

Duolir, books with subtitles.

Posted on by Little Nice Things

In collaboration with the talented Giwan Persaud, Little Nice Things contributed to the creation of this brand which we called Duolir.

Duolir is an app for iPhone & iPad that allows you to read with subtitles. Merging the pleasure of reading a book with the convenience of learning a new language.

Simply tap in one paragraph to read in another language.

The app was carefully crafted, so the translation doesn’t come from an automatic source, instead you will always find the author’s real interpretation.

As a plus, independent Bilingual authors can also create their own books and sell on Duolir.

OFFF day 2 - Karlssonwilker

Posted on by Little Nice Things

Based in NY, Karlssonwilker showed some interesting projects like the Urban visual recording machine, where they recorded audio and visual elements of NY, and convert that elements into a book cover for the Creative Time.

Also funny to see how they were
treated like stars in a early project for Serbia.

The afternoon continues @OFFFest
